Walmart promises every buyer a ship date, worked out from each listing's lag time. If you sell the same product from a fast warehouse and a slower one — your own 3PL and Amazon FBA through Multi-Channel Fulfillment, say — one fixed lag time is always wrong for one of them: too slow while the fast warehouse has stock, too optimistic once only the slow stock is left. Automatic Walmart lag time fixes that. SKU.io gives each listing the lag time of the fastest warehouse that actually holds its stock, tells Walmart the slower lag time before more orders are promised the fast date, and never sends more than the lag time Walmart has approved for your store.

When one 3PL runs both your parcel shipping and your large-item home deliveries, a warehouse never has just one way out. Metro deliveries go to the delivery team, while FedEx parcels ship from the 3PL's own warehouse system. Until now a warehouse in SKU.io had a single shipping provider, so the other half of the orders had to be split off by hand. Two things change that. The new Pinnacle integration sends your home deliveries to Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery (MWD) and tracks them back. Shipping-method routing lets one warehouse send each shipping method to the provider that should handle it.

When a wholesale or phone customer wants to pay by PayPal, the payment usually happens somewhere else. You send a PayPal invoice or request, wait, then open the order and type the payment in by hand. The PayPal fee never makes it onto the order, so the payment looks bigger than what actually reached your account. PayPal payments brings it into SKU.io. Connect your PayPal Business account, send the customer a pay link from the sales order, and when they pay, SKU.io records the payment on the order, with PayPal's fee, without you typing anything.

Import duty is often one of the biggest costs on a product, and one of the last to show up. Your customs broker bills it weeks after the goods land, as one lump sum for the whole entry, so until then your margins look better than they really are. Then the bill arrives and you have to work out which products it belongs to. Tariffs & duty closes that gap. Keep a table of duty rates by HS code, country of origin and destination, and SKU.io estimates the duty on every purchase order line. The estimate follows the goods to the inbound shipment and the receipt, and can go into stock cost the day they arrive. When the broker's bill comes in, SKU.io shows you how close the estimate was.

Amazon and Walmart grade every seller on how they ship: valid tracking, late shipments, cancellations, order defects. Miss a target and the marketplace can restrict a category or your whole account — and the first you usually hear of it is an email after the damage is done. When an account ships a handful of orders a month, a single bad shipment is enough to tip a score below the line. When a vendor ships a dropship order straight to your customer, they usually ship on their own carrier account. You pay their markup, you don't control the carrier, and then you chase them for a tracking number and type it in by hand. Dropship vendor shipping labels fixes that. Switch it on for a supplier, and SKU.io buys a prepaid label on your own Shippo, ShipStation, Starshipit or EasyPost account and gets it to the vendor. The label's tracking flows back into the order by itself, so your customer and sales channel hear "shipped" at the right moment.

A 1- or 2-star seller comment is one of the things that moves your Amazon order defect rate, and the comment has lived in Seller Central while the order lived in SKU.io. Amazon seller feedback puts them in one place: the rating, the text, whether you have posted a public reply, and the sales order the comment belongs to. Next to the list, SKU.io shows Amazon's FBA and merchant order defect rate for each marketplace, so the comment and the number it affects are on the same screen. The report Amazon sends is neutral and negative only — 1, 2, and 3 stars. Amazon does not include 4- and 5-star comments.

Every support ticket tells you something: a screen that confuses people, a setting nobody understands, an integration that keeps tripping up.
