Operations templates for ecommerce teams
The documents a warehouse and a buying desk run on. Download them as Excel files that do their own math, or fill them in here and print them. Written for stores that sell on more than one channel, so they carry the fields the generic office templates leave out: the channel, the channel's order ID, the supplier's SKU, the bin.
- Purchase order template A one-page PO with your SKU and the supplier's SKU side by side, landed-cost lines and a column for what actually arrived.
- Packing slip template A packing slip with the sales channel, the channel's order ID, bin locations and a backordered column that does its own math.
- Reorder point sheet Safety stock, reorder point and a suggested order quantity for every SKU, from sales and lead times you already know.
Using these templates
Use them for your own business, change them however you like, and share the page with anyone who needs one. Every file opens in Excel, Google Sheets (File, then Import) and Apple Numbers. The sample rows are made up; type over them.
A spreadsheet is the right tool for a while. It stops being the right tool when the same row is typed in three places: the channel, the sheet and the accounting app. Each template says where that line is for its own job, and what the same job looks like inside SKU.io. If you would rather work a number out than download a file, the free tools do that in the browser.
Outgrown the spreadsheet?
Bring the sheet you run on today. We will walk through which parts SKU.io takes over and which ones you should keep.
