Connect Square
You connect Square by signing in to Square and approving SKU.io. There are no keys to copy. Then map each Square location to a SKU.io warehouse so its orders take stock from the right place.
Before you begin
- You need a Square account you can sign in to, and permission to connect integrations in SKU.io.
- Decide which SKU.io store your Square sales post to.
Connect your Square account
-
Go to Apps & Integrations, open Sales Channels, and choose Square.

-
Click Connect Square. The New Square Integration page opens with a Square Setup Guide.

-
Under Basic Information, type an Integration Name and pick the Store. Square sales from the point of sale, online, and invoices all post to this store.
-
Under Order Import, optionally set the Order import start date. Orders before it aren't imported.

-
Click Connect with Square, sign in to Square, and approve access. Square sends you back to SKU.io.
Map locations to warehouses
- Open Settings → Warehouse Mappings.
- Refresh the list of Square locations, then pick a SKU.io warehouse for each one.
New orders from a mapped location go to its warehouse, and stock is reserved and taken from that warehouse when the orders sync.
Choose what goes back to Square
| Settings tab | What to check |
|---|---|
| Sync | Push prices to Square, the one thing SKU.io sends on a schedule. See Manage a connected app |
| Pricing Sync | Master of Price. Set it to SKU.io, then choose which price to send. See Sync prices with your sales channels |
| Orders | The Order import start date |
| Authentication | The connection's status. Click Re-authorize with Square if Square stops accepting it |
