Warehouse Locations
Warehouse locations are the bins inside a warehouse, and a location transfer moves stock from one bin to another in a single step, with no shipping or in-transit stage. You run location transfers from Inventory → Put Away, when you shelve newly received stock, and from the Replenishment screen, when you top up a pick face. To move stock between two warehouses, use a warehouse transfer instead. This chapter also covers the scanner-driven floor work and moving whole pallets with license plate numbers (LPNs).
