Lots & Expiry

Lot tracking gives every receipt of a product its own batch number and expiry date, so you know which units you hold, what's about to expire, and which customers received a given batch. You turn it on per product, capture lots as stock arrives, and SKU.io carries them through manufacturing and onto shipments. That chain is what lets you trace a batch back to its suppliers and forward to its customers when you need to recall it.
