Assemblies

An assembly turns component products into a finished kit in one immediate step: the components come off the shelf, the kits go on, and the kit's cost rolls up from what it consumed. You run it from Inventory → Assemblies when a kit needs no work orders or production stages, and you can disassemble a kit back into its parts the same way. For multi-step production, use a manufacturing order instead.
