Allocations & Backorders
An allocation is how SKU.io commits stock to a sales order line, a transfer, or a manufacturing order, and a backorder is any line still waiting for stock to cover it. Start with how allocations work, then do the day-to-day work on Inventory → Backorder Queue, where you release stock and line up purchase-order coverage. Browse every allocation on Inventory → Allocations, and set units aside yourself on Inventory → Stock Holds.
