SKU.io Is Now an Approved Walmart Marketplace Solution Provider

SKU.io is now an approved Solution Provider for Walmart Marketplace. Our app passed Walmart Marketplace’s API certification in September. Sellers will be able to find it and connect it from the Walmart Marketplace App Store.

Walmart Marketplace has been a sales channel in SKU.io for over a year. Certification is different. Walmart Marketplace’s team went through the workflows with us live, over several sessions: items, inventory, orders, cancellations, shipping, returns, refunds, Walmart Fulfillment Services inbound shipments and reports. Some of those sessions turned up bugs on our side. That is what a certification is for.

What the integration does

• Items. Publish products to Walmart Marketplace from the product record you already keep in SKU.io, including items with variations. SKU.io shows which required attributes a Walmart Marketplace category still needs before an item goes out.
• Inventory. Available stock is published from SKU.io’s inventory ledger, with a buffer you set per product.
• Orders and tracking. Orders import and are acknowledged automatically. Shipments, partial shipments, cancellations and tracking go back to Walmart Marketplace.
• Walmart Fulfillment Services. Build inbound shipment plans, send them, track them, and reconcile what WFS received against what you shipped.
• Returns and refunds. Returns land in SKU.io matched to their order. Refunds are issued from SKU.io.
• Reports and settlements. Item, inventory and performance reports, plus settlement and payment statements, pulled in for you.

Why it matters if you already use SKU.io

Nothing changes in how you work. Walmart Marketplace becomes one more place your stock is sold, run off the same ledger as everything else. If you have been holding off on Walmart Marketplace because it meant another system to keep in sync, it no longer does.
