Repairs & Warranty: Set up
Set these up before your bench takes in its first repair. Every one of them ships on for every tenant with today-preserving defaults — there's no "turn on repairs" switch — but the defaults are generic, and a few pages (issue types, SLA policies, rates) start empty or with a starter set you'll want to review. Settings → Repairs & Warranty holds nine settings pages plus a read-only shortcut to your repair vendors; this section covers the six that shape how a repair itself behaves — General, SLA Policies, Rates, Issue Types, Inspection Templates, and Part Compatibility. Warranty Policies, the Customer Portal, and Claim Sources have their own chapters, linked below.

| build the tree of problems your bench diagnoses, and the checklists it works through | Build issue types and inspection checklists |
