Cost Entries
Cost of goods sold covers what your stock cost. Everything else you pay to run the business, such as software, rent, storage, ads and agency fees, goes on Insights → Cost Entries. Each entry is one cost you record, and you allocate it to the products, brands, suppliers or sales channels it belongs to. The Profitability and Contribution Margin reports then subtract it, so each product's margin includes its share of your overheads.
Cost entries are for reporting. They don't create accounting entries and they don't change inventory cost.
