Manufacturing Orders

A manufacturing order builds a product from its recipe: it consumes components from one warehouse and receives the finished goods into another. Start with the full lifecycle from draft to completed, then clear any component shortfalls on a confirmed order before you start production. While it runs, record the time each step takes and any material lost, and compare the result against the plan. The status reference explains each stage and what it does to inventory and accounting.
