Manage sales reps

A sales rep is who gets credit for an order. Set a rep as a customer's default and every new order for that customer carries them automatically — or pick one per order when creating a sales order.

Add a sales rep

  1. Go to Contacts → Sales Reps.
  2. Click Add Sales Rep.
  3. Enter the Name (required). Email and Phone are optional.
  4. Optionally pick a Linked User to connect the rep to a SKU.io login, a Group, and a Commission Rate (%) — see Track sales rep commissions.
  5. Leave Active on and click Create.

You can also bulk-load reps with Import (same four-step importer as customers), and the customer importer creates missing reps automatically when a Default Sales Rep column names one that doesn't exist yet.

The sales rep page

Click a rep's name to open their page — two tabs:

  • Details — name, email, phone, linked user, status, and timestamps, with an Edit action, plus a Summary of the sales orders credited to the rep.
  • Activity Log — the audit trail of changes.

The Details tab also shows a Commission this month panel with the rep's orders, sales, commission and rate for the month to date.

The list

The sales reps list shows ID, Name, Email, Phone, Group, Commission, Orders, Status, Created At, and Updated At, with Group, Status and Date filters, saved views, and advanced filters.

Sales reps get credit for orders. Click Add Sales Rep, name them, and create. Link a user account if the rep logs in. Each rep has a page — contact details, status, and a summary of the orders credited to them. Set a rep as a customer's default, and every new order carries them automatically.
