Closeout Linesheet template reference

The closeout linesheet is a photo grid of the products you're clearing, sent to wholesale and off-price buyers. It prints each product with its picture, units available and closeout pricing, so a buyer can choose what to take.

You print it from the closeout export on the Sell-through tab of PIM → Lifecycle, by choosing PDF linesheet. The closeout offer email can attach it too. See Sell off closeout stock. You edit its layout under Settings → PDF Templates, where its type is Closeout Linesheet.

What makes it different

It's built from a list, not one record. Every other template prints one order, credit or pick list. The linesheet prints whichever products you chose for the closeout export: the rows you checked, or every row matching your filters. Matrix products are replaced by their variants, and bundles are left out, because they hold no stock themselves. One linesheet carries up to 2,000 products.

Prices are formatted numbers, with no currency symbol. The currency is printed once, in the header. A price is blank when the product has no price on the tier it comes from, so wrap price rows in their switches (see below).

Where the prices come from

You choose the sources in the Export closeout dialog:

FieldComes from
Wholesale PriceThe tier you pick in Wholesale price from. Left empty, it uses your tier named "Wholesale", or else your oldest tier whose name contains "wholesale". The box names the tier it will use.
MSRPThe tier you pick in MSRP from. It starts on your default price tier.
Clearance PriceThe product's current price in its active clearance plan, on the plan's first price level, or on the default price level when the plan names none. Blank when the product isn't in an active plan.
Units AvailableAvailable stock across all warehouses. With Only products with stock available ticked (the default), products with none are left off.
Case PackThe product's case quantity, when it has one.

The Currency is the MSRP tier's currency, or the wholesale tier's when there's no MSRP tier.

What you can print

Store

Under Store: Store Name, Store Logo (HTML img) and the store's address, as a ready-made block or in parts (name, company, three address lines, city, state and its code, postal code, country and its code, phone and email).

Under Linesheet, the sheet-level fields:

FieldWhat it prints
Title"Closeout linesheet".
DateThe day the sheet was made, for example Nov 3, 2026.
Offer Valid UntilThe date from Offer valid until (optional) in the export dialog, formatted the same way. Blank when you leave it empty.
CurrencyThe currency code of every price, for example USD.
Total UnitsUnits available across every product on the sheet.
Product CountHow many products are on the sheet.

Products

Under Products, inside the item loop, each product has:

FieldWhat it prints
SKUThe product's SKU.
Product NameIts name.
Options (Colour, Size…)Its variant options, for example Colour: Cognac. Blank for a product without options.
Image URLThe address of its main image.
Units AvailableUnits available to sell.
Wholesale PriceIts wholesale price.
Clearance PriceIts closeout price.
MSRPIts MSRP.
Case PackIts case quantity.

And per-product switches: Has Image, Has Clearance Price, Has Wholesale Price and Has Case Pack.

The sheet-level switches

Under Conditional Flags:

SwitchWhat it's for
Has ItemsWhether the sheet has any products. The stock template prints No products on this linesheet. in the inverted branch.
Has Expiry DateWhether you entered an Offer valid until date. Wrap the expiry line in it, so a sheet without a date doesn't print an empty label.

What the stock template contains

  • Header: the title, then the store name and date, then, only when you gave a date, Offer valid until date, or while stock lasts. The store logo sits on the right.
  • Summary line: N products · N units available · prices in currency.
  • Product grid: three cards per row. Each card keeps together across page breaks. It shows the photo, or a No photo box when there isn't one, then the name, SKU and options, then a small table with Closeout, Wholesale, MSRP, Available and Case pack.
  • Rows that hide themselves: Closeout, Wholesale and Case pack print only when the product has that value. MSRP and Available always print.

The AI assistant in the editor offers starter prompts for this type, such as adding a "how to order" block with your portal link, a case pack badge on each product, or the closeout price shown large with the MSRP struck through.

Which template prints

The linesheet uses the Closeout Linesheet template of your default store: that store's own version if it has one, otherwise the global template. See How PDF templates work.

If there's no Closeout Linesheet template at all, printing the linesheet fails with "No closeout linesheet template is configured. Add one under Settings → PDF Templates." Every account starts with one, so this only happens when it has been deleted.
