Create and manage users
Add the people on your team as users so they can sign in to SKU.io, and control what each one can reach. A user's access comes from two access levels — Admin and Power User — plus any roles you assign.
Before you begin
- You need permission to manage users (an Admin, or a role with the users permissions).
- Have each teammate's full name and email address ready.
Add a user
- Go to Settings → Users & Permissions → Users.
- Click Create User.
- Enter the Full Name and Email.
- Set the access level:
- Is Admin — full, unrestricted access, including settings and user management. Admins bypass role permissions.
- Is Power User — elevated access below an admin.
- Leave both off for a standard user whose access comes from the roles you assign.
- Click Create.
The user is added with an Active status. In production, they receive an invitation email to set their own password. On a staging environment, a temporary password is shown once instead — copy it and share it securely, because it isn't shown again.
Manage a user
From the Users list, each row has actions:
- Edit (pencil) — update the name, email, or the Is Admin / Is Power User toggles.
- Assign roles (shield) — grant or remove roles; the roles a user holds show in the Roles column.
- Delete (trash) — remove the user's access.
Use the search box to find a user by name or email, and the Columns and Advanced Filters controls to shape the list.
Next steps
- Create a role — bundle permissions to assign to standard users.
- Roles and permissions reference — what admin, power user, and roles each grant.

Add your teammates as users so they can sign in. In Settings, under Users and Permissions, click Create User. Enter their name and email, then set the access level — an admin, a power user, or a standard user whose access comes from roles. Create the account. In production, they're emailed an invite to set their own password. From the list, you can edit a user, assign roles, or remove their access.
