VeraCore statuses reference
The VeraCore integration shows several unrelated sets of statuses. This page lists every value in each set, what it means, and the colour it renders in.
Order statuses
Shown in the Status column on the Orders tab. These are VeraCore's own order statuses, mirrored exactly as VeraCore reports them — SKU.io does not compute or override them.
| Status | Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Unapproved | Blue (info) | Received by VeraCore but not yet approved for processing. |
| Unprocessed | Blue (info) | Approved, waiting to enter the pick queue. |
| Accepted | Blue (info) | Accepted into the warehouse workflow. |
| Hold | Amber (warning) | Deliberately held — the warehouse has stopped it from progressing. |
| Denied Credit | Amber (warning) | Blocked on a credit check. |
| Pending | Blue (info) | Awaiting action at VeraCore. |
| Processed | Blue (primary) | Processed and ready to pick. |
| Picked | Blue (primary) | Items pulled from stock. |
| Backordered | Grey | Cannot be filled from available stock. |
| Partially Shipped | Amber (warning) | Some lines have shipped; others have not. |
| Shipped | Amber (warning) | Shipped, but VeraCore has not yet closed the order. |
| Complete | Green (success) | Finished at VeraCore. |
| Canceled | Red (error) | Cancelled at VeraCore. |
An order with no status yet renders as a grey —.
This looks odd at first glance. VeraCore treats Shipped as an in-flight state — the order has left, but the record is not closed. Complete is the terminal, everything-reconciled state. The colours follow VeraCore's own lifecycle, not intuition.
How this maps to your sales order
A VeraCore fulfillment order sits at Submitted on the SKU.io side until tracking comes back. See the sales order status reference for how provider statuses roll up into sales-order status.
Fulfillment statuses
Shown on the Fulfillments tab. These are SKU.io's own fulfillment-order statuses for the requests it sent to VeraCore, not VeraCore's order statuses above.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Sent to VeraCore, no acknowledgement yet. |
| Acknowledged | VeraCore accepted the fulfillment request. |
| Picked | Items pulled at the warehouse. |
| Packed | Packed and ready to leave. |
| Fulfilled | Shipped, with tracking recorded. |
| Awaiting Pickup | Ready, waiting on the carrier. |
| Canceled | Cancelled before shipping. |
Report task statuses
Shown in the Status column on the Report Tasks tab. A report task is one round-trip of the Dynamic Reporting tracking pipeline: SKU.io asks VeraCore to run a report, waits for it, then reads the rows.
| Status | Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Created | Blue (info) | The report was requested at VeraCore. |
| Polling | Amber (warning) | Waiting for VeraCore to finish generating it. |
| Done | Green (success) | VeraCore finished — the rows are available. |
| Processed | Green (success) | SKU.io has read the rows and applied the tracking. |
| Failed | Red (error) | The request or the poll failed. The row keeps the error for diagnosis. |
| Superseded | Grey | A newer task for the same window replaced this one. |
The tracking schedule overlaps its date windows on purpose, so a later run frequently covers the same days as an earlier one. When it does, the older task is marked Superseded rather than left hanging. Seeing several of these is healthy.
Expected arrival statuses
Shown on the Expected Arrivals tab. An expected arrival is an Advance Ship Notice pushed to VeraCore.
| Status | Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Grey | Created in SKU.io, not yet sent to VeraCore. |
| Sent | Blue (info) | Announced to VeraCore, awaiting the goods. |
| Received | Green (success) | VeraCore has received it. Terminal — see below. |
| Error | Red (error) | The push or a later reconciliation failed. The Last Error column carries the reason. |
| Cancelled | Amber (warning) | Pulled back before receiving. |
Once VeraCore marks an arrival Received, it can no longer be edited or deleted through the API. That is what the lock indicator on the row reflects — the Cancel announcement? action is no longer available. Filter by Receiving started to see everything in this state.
Product mapping states
Shown in the Mapping column on the Products tab, and used by the mapping filter.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Mapped | The offer points at a SKU.io product and the sync can rely on it. |
| Needs Review | A match was found but is not trusted enough to use unattended. Confirm or replace it. |
| Unmapped | No SKU.io product is linked. |
Match methods
Shown alongside the mapping state — which rung of the match ladder produced the link. It is recorded so a later question ("why is this VeraCore item pointing at that SKU?") is answerable without re-running the matcher.
| Method | Colour | How the match was made |
|---|---|---|
| Exact SKU | Green (success) | The VeraCore item ID equals a SKU.io SKU, character for character. |
| Normalized SKU | Blue (info) | They match after normalising case, spaces, and punctuation. |
| UPC | Blue (info) | The barcodes match. Requires WMS credentials. |
| Exact Name | Amber (warning) | The product titles are identical. Always flagged for review. |
| Manual | Blue (primary) | A person set this mapping. |
| Unmatched | Grey | Nothing matched. |
Name matching is the weakest rung — two distinct products routinely share a title. A name match is treated as a suggestion rather than a mapping the sync can silently rely on, so it always lands in Needs Review.
Inventory change sources
Shown in the Source column on the Inventory Ledger tab. VeraCore publishes no movement feed, so every value here describes a snapshot comparison — never a real transaction.
| Source | Label | Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
initial | First Observation | Blue (info) | The first time this item/warehouse combination was seen. There is no prior snapshot to compare against. |
snapshot | Snapshot Change | Blue (primary) | The quantity differs from the previous snapshot. |
absent | No Longer Reported | Amber (warning) | The item was in the previous snapshot and is missing from this one. |
These are diffs between two daily photographs of VeraCore's balances, not inventory movements. Several real transactions between snapshots collapse into one ledger row, and pruning old rows never changes stock. See Read the inventory ledger.
Expected arrival header values
Two fields on an expected arrival accept only a fixed set of values — VeraCore rejects anything else, so they are always pickers, never free text.
Shipping method code
VeraCore's single-character shippingMethod code on an Expected Arrival header.
| Code | Label |
|---|---|
M | Motor Freight |
A | Air |
R | Rail |
Load type
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
Palletized | Goods arrive on pallets. |
Parcel | Goods arrive as parcels. |
Floor-Loaded | Goods are loose-loaded in the container or trailer. |
